How it all began...

Tuna & Bear began in 2018 on a kitchen table in the Lake District.

I was planning my own wedding and wanted our dog to be part of it but nothing I found felt right. It was either insecure, overly fussy or looked like novelty fancy dress.

If he was walking down the aisle, he was doing it properly.

So I designed one.

With my mum, who is a dressmaker, we created a suit that looked tailored on the outside but functioned as a secure, adjustable harness underneath. Smart. Structured. Not costume.

That design became the original wedding suit harness for dogs.

What started as bespoke pieces quickly gained attention. Demand grew, and we evolved into a ready to ship collection, allowing couples to choose their suit colour and bow tie while keeping the same tailored design and secure fit.

The collection expanded from there. Today you can add a matching bow tie or a ring bearer attachment, turning the suit into a full wedding role.

Now, Tuna & Bear suits walk down aisles across the UK and around the world and have been featured in international publications including Vogue.

Still designed and based in the Lake District.
